Asteroids are seen from reflected sun light.

Comets are observed from light and x-rays produced by matter/antimatter annihilations.

We can not see the asteroid
with the naked eye.

Meteor & Comet Fragment Impacts.

Barringer Meteor created a crater, 1.2 kilometers wide and 200 meters deep, in Arizona about 50,000 years ago.   On June 30, 1908, antimatter fragment explosion in Russian Siberia. The blast flattened 2,000 square kilometers of forest.

The impact of the 30 metric ton iron meteor was equivalent to a 20 Megaton explosion.

The impact of the 1.4 kilogram antimatter fragment was equivalent to a 30 Megaton nuclear bomb.
There were no biological mutations. The radiation caused biological mutations.
