News Release 35 - Antimatter  Energy

Antimatter produces an enormous quantities energy.  A metric ton of antimatter (mass of the average car) can produce all the electricity in the world for one year.  The United States would not have to depend upon natural gas, oil, & coal.  We could make products from chemical materials rather burning it and polluting our environment.  Other countries could do the same.

• The antimatter comes from comets  Acquiring antimatter is significantly different than mining asteroids because force fields are needed acquiring, processing & storing the antimatter.

• Energy sources from small comet fragments (gram to kilogram) could become available within the next five to ten years.

• The initial cost of antimatter initially is going to be very expensive; but as processing become more routine, antimatter cost will go down significantly.

Antimatter energy will bring all countries into the 21st century without destroying our environment and provide power for spacecraft, space stations, space facilities, and colonies.
